About SPJ Varsity

SPJ Varsity aims to profile recent work from members of the organization who are doing innovative stories from the field of sports-related journalism.  This includes college writers who are learning the craft and would like to one day write alongside journalists from the major dailies, broadcast outlets, and Web sites throughout the world.  It also includes some of the top practitioners of sports journalism in a variety of media.  The site will also feature events related to the field, whether they be national conferences of professionals, panel discussions on college campuses, or other events that are helpful and relevant resources to writers.
