A Laughing Matter
News Gems is taking a break for Thanksgiving and will be back next week. But before I start stuffing myself with Mom's turkey, I want to leave you with some holiday cheer. This "Land of 10,000 Stories" report comes from Boyd Huppert of KARE 11 in the Twin Cities. It tells the story of Jo Stewart, a woman who loves to laugh so much that she's started her own laughing club in her small Wisconsin town of Solon Springs. Huppert gives us a great profile of a woman who manages to make her corner of the world a better place. I hope laughter as joyous as Stewart's fills all of your homes during a wonderful Thanksgiving.
