Jon Marshall:
I am a reporter, writer, teacher and speaker who believes that good journalism is crucial to a thriving democracy. In addition to writing for magazines, newspapers, Web sites and businesses around the country, I teach reporting and writing at Northwestern University's Medill School of Journalism. A native Arizonan, I now live in suburban Chicago with my wonderful wife, Laurie, and three amazing sons.
My co-author, Brian Summers, is a former senior editor at Reader's Digest. He has written for the Wall Street Journal, Barron's and other newspapers and worked as a mechanical engineer on the Lunar Excursion Module.
