Promotions and chance
I want to announce that I am being promoted to a daily reporter! For five months.
It's so strange the events that have led me to where I am in my career today. A few months ago I was drooling over the iPhone, saving money on everything I could so I could line up and buy an Apple delight the day the phones went on sale.
Then I offered to
blog about my experience for the Register. And then they kept me
blogging about Apple technology. And now......the technology reporter is going to have her baby soon and I'll be filling her spot full-time for five months.
Sure at the end I go back to my current job, but I hope that I can prove that I deserve to stay a daily reporter and that a position opens up.
Strange how stuff like that just works out, huh?
